Both my boys are on the autism spectrum, with different issues and a big age difference. Neither are very sporty and they don't like the big groups of kids for swim lessons...believe me we tried, and it didn't work out.
Both have problems with water: swimming, water on thier face and over thier head.
6 weeks, 1 day a week and the difference is noticable. Both now go under, even my 11 year old who is very phobic about it on his head, but he got the goggles on and went under.
My 4 year old, who used to cling like koala bear in the water, was draped over a fun noodle racing a girl from side to side by the second week.
I couldn't be happier with the experience and I'm thrilled they had so much fun. They couldn't wait to go to stepping stones and thier "new friends"!
